Hatha Yoga for Stress Relief

Stress is a major health concern in todays society. Whether it is work, relationships, school or the demands of our private life - stress is often deeply involved in our daily lives. Dealing constantly with stress does not only decrease the quality of life but has also a big impact on mental and physical health. This class is designed to reduce the feeling of stress on your body and mind and to enhance relaxation and a feeling of safety in your body. Through different techniques like psychoeducation, breathwork, gentle stretches, and meditation your body will be enabled to release accumulated stress and be guided into a deep state of relaxation. This 60 minute class will be offered as 1:1 and online.

Breathwork and Meditation Session

This 45 minute class focuses on balancing the body and mind by doing breathwork together followed by a guided meditation. Breathwork helps the nervous system to calm down and to release any stagnant energies. The meditation fosters a deep state of relaxation, which helps the body to heal and to improve the quality of your sleep. After this session you will feel deeply relaxed and rested. This session can be offered in German as well as in English. All classes will be offered as 1:1 and online.

Trauma-Informed Hatha Yoga

Trauma is something many people experience in different forms during their lifetime. It can bring up intense emotions such as helplessness, fear, anxiety or sometimes a sense of numbness or disconnection. Yoga can be a supportive resource to help you in your healing journey to reconnect with your body and to cultivate a feeling of safety and empowerment. Through gentle breathwork, asanas (different poses) and the practices of mindfulness and grounding techniques we will explore what helps your body to release some of these emotions and to foster feelings of relaxation and in your body. Throughout the session, you will always have the option to adjust any practice or choose an alternative that feels more comfortable. These sessions are offered 1:1 and online.
